Annie’s Cats

Tiger Lily is a beautiful tabby cat with soft green eyes. She is the titular manager of Tiger Lily’s Café, the main gathering place for Chelsea. She is generally calm and logical.

Little Socks is a bright-eyed black cat with white socks. She has a commanding personality and is small and sneaky enough to serve as a cat burglar. She spends time at the yoga studio, L’Socks’ Virasana.

Kali, Ko and Mo are litter mates. They shared a secret language as kittens; Kali and Ko now speak “cat,” but Mo still speaks “secret.” Kali and Ko can be found at the KaliKo Inn, a lakeside bed and breakfast. Mo spends time at Mo’s Tap, an upscale blues bar.

Sassy Pants is aptly named; it’s difficult to keep this little girl’s attention. She is overly sensitive and will react out of emotion instead of reason. She entertains at Sassy P’s Wine & Cheese.

Mr. Bean is the baby of the family and is mostly gray with traces of tiger. He has two speeds: fast and love me. He grew to be a big boy.

Other Companions

Brown Mousie lives in the long building and roams from the Café to the Wine & Cheese shop. He stays primarily at Sassy P’s.

Claire is a blue point Himalayan cat whose human is Frank. She’s beautiful and loves people. She is stand-offish with other cats.

Cyril is an English setter whose human is Pete, the Chief of Police. Cyril is friendly and calm. He is an excellent hunter. He helps the cats get clues to Pete.

Daryll is a multi-colored tabby cat with an air of perpetual confusion. His first fur-ever father met with an untimely end. He joined Speckles as a nanny kitty for Litte Fred, but when the darling girl developed an allergy to cats, he became a fur-ever kitty to Teresa at Soul’s Harbor.

Fiamma is a Bergamasco. Dreadlocks cover her face. In fact, her entire body is covered with a combination of long dreadlocks and mats of hair. She is an outrageous flirt. Her human is Ramon.

Honey Bear is a large, golden, long-haired mutt of a cat who believes it is his perfect right to be anywhere. Other cats hate him. His human is Annie’s mother, Nancy.

Jock is a Portuguese water dog whose human is Ray, the captain of The Escape. Jock is spirited and affectionate; he loves children. He loves to tease Cyril.

Mattie is a long-haired beauty with whom everyone falls in love. When Tiger Lily found her, her hair was so matted that it had to be shaved off. She is a cuddler, a crier, a lover, and an exceptionally bright little girl. She is shown here with her precious toy, Sheepie.

Moriah is a dilute calico cat with long hair and a lioness mane. She is “fluffy” all over, with a sexy little waddle. Clara is her fur-ever human. It must be said that Moriah is a little vain.

Oscar McMurphy was a stray, named Scaredy Cat by Annie’s cats. Despite her human-given name, she is a girl who now lives with Holly and Jolly. She claims Holly as her very own. She is often in and out of the Inn and other places on The Avenue with her brother. Simon Finnegan was named Fat Cat by Annie’s cats. He claims Jolly to be his mom.

Simon is a famous winery cat. She lives at Chateau Simon Winery. Her humans are Brian and Janet Thomas. She is a tuxedo cat with a wicked white stripe from her nose to the middle of her eyes.

Sis is a dark gray giant schnauzer. Tiger Lily rescued her during a snow storm. Together, the kids introduced her to Chris, who is now her human.

Speckles is a tortoise shell cat, named for her orange speckles. She used to belong to Georgia and acted as Little Fred’s nanny kitty. When Little Fred developed an allergy to cats (!!!!), Speckles gained a new fur-ever home with Teresa at Soul’s Harbor.

Spooky and her children were rescue cats that now live at Chateau Simon Winery. Spooky is feral. Pure black, she seems to enjoy the arbor and the barns and rarely, if ever, approaches the tasting building. One boy, an orange tabby named Marmalade, sticks to the barns and fields like his mother. Two girls, both traditional calicos, come to the deck to interact with Simon, and, rarely, humans. Bull’s Eye has one perfect black eye. Half-Track has a face that is one half black.

Tillie came to live on The Avenue with his dreadful family from England. She is a Jack Russell Terrier and now lives with Carlos and Isabel above the Confectionary. She is small enough to get through the cat doors, so has free run of The Avenue.
